What Causes Severe Stomach Pains And Black Stools?
good evening! My 3 yr old has been complaining of sever stomach pains each night for the last 2 nights. She has been passing black stools like the consitancy of peanut butter. She goes thru several pants a night and after a few hrs, she will eventually fall asleep. Given the holiday, her pediatrician hasn't been too good about getting back to me. Wondering what this could be or what I should do

Hi. This is likely to be malena caused due to bleeding in the upper gastrointestinal tract. Conditions such as meckel diverticulum can be associated with such conditions. I think you should visit a pediatrician at earliest.
