What Causes Severe Tingling And Burning Sensation In Ankle?

I have had tingling and a burning feeling in my ankles and feet for the last month. Now I feel itching and tingling throughout my body at different times of the day. I had CBC done at the end of December and my doctor confirmed all my blood count levels were normal. What could it be? I keep reading horrible things like MS.

Tingling and a burning feeling are commonly observed in MS (multiple sclerosis) patients. If such a patient comes to me in my clinic I would not rule out MS first, instead I would like to check for the following in the order of priority.
1.Fasting blood sugar
2.serum level of vitamin b12
3.Detail neurological examination
4. MRI of spine.
