What Causes Severe Vaginal Bleeding When Diagnosed With Endometrial Polyp?

I had a diagnostic d&c and doctor s found polypoid endometrial tissue, lots of curretting plus old blood.I was put on depo injection however my situation has gone from heavy bleeding.doctor s here recommended hysterectomy. Is there another or better solution?

Treatment options for uterine polyp include
-Watchful waiting if small and asymptomatic
-Hormonal medications like depo
-Surgery.
Surgery may entail just removing the polyp or hysterectomy if the bleeding is not controllable or if the polyp contains cancerous cells.
This will be the decision of you Gynecologist.What he decides should be what is best for you given the fact that he is an expert in this field.
