What Causes Severe Vomiting In A Baby?

My 21 months old son has been vomiting for the last 3 hours. First he vomited water and liitle food he ate, then every 20 minutes it is bright yellow bile. The doctor on call first said i should put him to sleep, he was very lethargic, sleepy, out of it. I called back few minutes ago and heard that i should wait another hour and a half, and if it doesn't stop, i should go with him to the ER. What should i do? It seems to be getting less frequent now, about every half hour. Please advice. Thank you.

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
Try some ondansetron syrup and let the sleep. Hope the vomitings will stop.
Take care of the hydration by sips of liquids, dal rice water etc,
If still vomitings do not stop please go to ER.
