What Causes Severe Vomiting With Blood In Vomitus In A Child?
Hello Doctor, My daughter who is 3.5 year old has started vomitting since last 5 hours. She has vomitted at least 5 times so far. There is no blood in it, mostly it has all the foods that she is taking and little bit of cough.. She is saying she has a bit of pain in lower abdomen and throat. She is a little bit dull but playing fine with her toys. Would like to point out that we just returned from a 5 day cruise yesterday. She was absolutely fine till today afternoon.

The tauma&stress of vomitus & vomiting can cause slight bleeding after repeated vomitting in a child.
Give her bland dost today. Avoid hot or spicy food. Give half soon of Gelya il liquid twice a day. That should suffice. Take her to a doctor if she vomits again.
