What Causes Shaking And Feeling Cold?

Last night, while on the computer, I began shaking uncontrollably. I then took a long hot shower and went to sleep with a heavy headache and twisting stomach. During somewhere in 12 am, I urinated and felt just a bit better but all I have now is a small headache and unatural skin. Last night, after taking my shower, I stopped shaking but my room was 82 degrees and I was still cold.Whats wrong with me???

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to an infection. Have you measured your body temperature? Do you have fever? If you do not have fever, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR, urine analysis, thyroid hormone levels, blood electrolytes).

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
