What Causes Shaky Hands, Constant Headaches, Dizziness And Weight Loss?

lately I have had shaky hands, constant headaches and general feeling of weakness. I have lost weight but I was doing 30 minutes a day on a exercise bike. I lost about 30-40 pounds in 2 months. I also feel a little dizzy. Any ideas. I do feel hungry more often than normal

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

Your symptoms might be related to Hypoglycemia(low glucose level in blood).
Weight loss has lowered glucose level to 4.0 mmol/L. This is the reason why you are experiencing these symptoms.

To confirm the diagnosis you need:
1. Glycated hemoglobin test(HbA1C test).
2. Oral glucose tolerance test.
3. Complete blood count.
4. Liver function test.
5. Urine test.

You should immediately consult your endocrinologist.

All the best.
Dr. Behar.
