What Causes Sharp Chest Pain On Right Side Along With Headache And Arm Numbness?

I am having sharp pains in my chest on my right side, my arm is numb n tingly, i have a bad heafache, my neck hurts and so does my back. The pain is mostly on my right side and if i move sometimes that sharp shoting pain accurs, should i go to the er or what it out and make an appt

Hi,

Conditions which comes up with the group of symptoms like arm numbness AND pain, neck pain, chest tightness, headache includes:
- Cervical radiculopathy (pinched nerve)
- carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Herniated disc
- Nerve compression.
- cervical rib
In the above conditions, nerve is compressed or irritated causing pain that radiates to neck, shoulder, arm and jaw. Also, muscle weakness and numbness radiates down the arm and hands.

I advise you to:
- Use Soft cervical collar
- Exercises to relieve pain, strengthen neck muscles and to improve full range of motion
- Analgesics
- Oral corticosteroids and steroid injections to reducing swelling and inflammation around the nerve
- X-ray (Neck) to rule out cervical rib
