What Causes Sharp Left Palm Pain?

Hi I m 60 yrs old, 4ft 11in, and 143 lbs, female. I have been getting a sharp pain in my left palm. It happens kinda out of the blue, I cannot make it happen. and I noticed on that palm a raised line going up the middle of palm. Seems worse late day and early morning.

Hello,

To me should see orthopedic specialist. It might be a pinched nerve or tendons of the hand. But should get immediate evaluation by orthopedic specialist. Meanwhile, try gentle massage with essential oils like olive oil or lavender oil.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
