What Causes Sharp Pain Along With Tingling Sensation In Penis?
Hi, about 5 days ago I got a really sharp pain in my penis, ever since I ve been noticing a strange almost tingling sensation in the tip of my penis. It doesn t hurt to pee, masturbate, anything. However tonight I did notice a clear sticky liquid come out, very similar to pre cum so it might just be that. I ve had unprotected sex recently with my girl friend we broke up and I then hooked up with an old ex again unprotected sex and am worried I might have caught an std. I have a docs appt set up but I wanna ask and get an opinion of another doc before I go. Could I have a uti or prostisit however Its spelled haha, my ex use to play with my prostate and we broke up about 3 weeks ago so I m just curious about that as well.
You are suggested to get it clinically examined by a urologist. Get Urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done to rule out UTI or urethritis, etc. You should also get STD tests done to rule out possibility of STI. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected. Antibiotics, antivirals, and analgesics will be a apart of your treatment options.
Stay hydrated with adequate amount of water and fluids. Diabetic neuropathy, nerve compression, or trauma are other factors that can cause similar symptoms. Get clinically evaluated and avoid sex and any other sexual activity for a couple of days till you are better.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
