What Causes Sharp Pain At The Heels With Swelling In Toes?

I stand 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, in one spot all day at work. Hardly moving. The outer edge on the inside of my heel is very very tender, almost purple. I ll even get sharp pains during the day. My toes are swollen. Almost makes me want to cry some days, it hurts so bad. I ve tried soaking, massaging, and nothing helps. What can I do?! Please help!!!

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to you are having a standing job.You are having heel pain due to this. Probably you developed planter faciatis. I treat my such patients by injection triamcilone locally.,analgesics such as diclofenac help in relieving pain.Alternate method of treatment is hot fomentation, analgesics, wearing soft shoes etc.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
