What Causes Sharp Pain During Intercourse?
I am a 22 year old, otherwise healthy woman with no medical problems in the past. I have 1 child whom I delivered 2 years ago, and had a Mirena IUD inserted. I am 5'2'', 130 lbs. I am having severe, sharp pain during intercourse, to the point that I had to stop 10 minutes into sex. The sharp pain lasts 5-6 hours and slowly gets better over the course of 3-5 days. I can use my fingers to feel that my cervix may be swollen, but I'm not sure. I have had no bleeding with these symptoms, but am in unbearableWhat's wrong with me?

It could be due to cervical erosion or infection. you need to consult a gynecologist . It will be treated with antibiotics or cold cautery.
