What Causes Sharp Pain During Sex?

the other day when me and my new partner were having sex, we were doing dogy style and when he went in too deep i got a sharp pain in my lower back but i could feel it deep in my bum. i then went on top and felt the same pain, could this be because his penis is going in me too deep?

actually this pain is due to stretching of cervix by deep insertion. but pain is temporary and will vanish after some time. so don't worry by such pain.
