What Causes Sharp Pain In Leg And Trouble In Walking?
Hi, I want to enquire if you think I need to go see a docter or will Brufen work...From Tuesday I have suddenly not be able to walk in the back part kf my left foot, then I have a sharp almost sprain like pain down the left side of my foot(almost under die ankle knuckle ) if I sit for a while its fine, but as soon as I start walking it hurts, but there is no pain when sitting. I walked on my toes so far, but now even that gets painful when walking, now I try to walk on the inside of my foot to prevent it from hurting. Do you have any suggestions
Hello, I have studied your case and I think that you may have sprained your muscles of the foot. It can be due to standing for long time or sudden movement which you might not have noticed. So I would suggest you to continue with Brufen twice daily. You can also apply compression bandage and volitran ointment. Hot water fomentation will also help. If you feel that pain is not decreasing even after 5 days then you should get a x ray done. I hope this answer will be useful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
