Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My right foot has a sharp pain that s located in the area of one of the main vein. I ve been jump roping bare foot for about 4 months and this problem occurred recently. On top of that, my feet started feeling hot a few days after the pain came. What is this?
What I feel is this will be related to muscle spasm and nothing else. as there will be a pressure applied onto the joints because of heavy weight impact during skipping. Using hot water fermentation and keeping the leg elevated over a pillow in a lying position should give relief.
If you are having too much-burning sensation this could be due to either of the reasons. Either a nerve entrapment anywhere in its course or may be elevated levels of uric acid.
Checking firstly the uric acid levels should help decide the next course of action for diagnostic procedure or treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
