What Causes Sharp Stabbing Pain Just Below Ball Of Ankle?

I have a sharp stabbing pain just below ball of ankle. it lasts a few seconds then goes away, half hour later again.
No injuries that I can recall, No change in routine, happens whether laying down or standing. Very Sharp!!!!!!!
It is getting more consistent thru time.
Had a pinched sciatic nerve from my bulged L5, got shots and that got better - at first thought it was related.

Bulged L5 would give you pain/numbness in your great toe.
Nevertheless, what you have is called Plantar Fascitiis. It is pretty common in the working age group.
Soft cushion heels and pain killers if require will do the trick.
Also, taking a warm foot bath helps as I've seen in a few of my patients.
Good Luck !
