What Causes Sharp Vaginal Pain And Urinary Incontinence After A Pap Smear?

Took my daughter for her first Pap smear. She is a virgin. It was extremely painful. Now 3 days later she is still having nausea, abd pain, sharp vaginal pain, she feels like she has no control over her urine. She has no fever. I don t feel like this is normal.

Hi that's not normal. A pap smear will not cause these symptoms. Also pap smears are not necessary if the person is not serially active. Anyway it could be a urinary tract infection it's advisable to get it checked by her doctor and get appropriate treatment. I hope this helps you :)
