What Causes Shocking Or Tingling Feeling All Over Body?

Mental or physical? 48 y/o female smoker 1/ 1.5 pack daily W/lower back injury @L4/L5 bulging disc into the siatic nerve w/SI JOINT pain Mid back bulging disc 2 bulging disc in neck Disc degeration diesease Also Diabetes Neruopathy Fibromyalgia Anxiety Depression Breast density diesease High cholesterol Memory issues Had Cervical cancer x2 Surgeries Hysterectomy cervix only Tubal Gallbladder Tonsilectomy Emergancy Plastic surgery to forehead due to car accident Meds: Metformin 1000mg 2 daily Gluburide 5mg 3 daily Gabapentin 300mg 2 daily Prozac 20mg 1 daily Wellbutrin 100mg 1 daily Vitimin e 400iu 1 daily Lovastatin 20mg 1 daily Asprin 81mg 1 daily Pepcid 20mg 1 daily Flexeril 5mg 3 daily I had a sort of electric shock, tingeling type sensation thru out my entire body which was so intense that my teeth and jaw hurt from clenchng followed with twitching in my face by my mouth. There was also burning sensation in my arm and numbness in my hand and foot. All of which was onu right side. Weak type feeling thru out also nausiated and ringing in my ear. Light headed as well. From begining to end was about 5 hrs and for 3 days was still weak. I went to the er within the first hour, the 1st dr. Checked me, ordered blood test (4 seperate tubes), urine & a ct scan Unfortunately his shift ended before the results were in, here lies the problem... 2nd dr comes in says ct looks good, blood and urine test are normal you can go, he never checked me himself or ask me anything. By now you know he decided it was just anxiety, I have had anxiety for 41 years and never ever has this happened. Please help me to understand what happened to me and that its not in my head.

Maybe it was a minor but prolonged TIA, but more likely is some freak side-effect of your complex medication. Even when you take these substances for yours this can happen. Important is that you had a CT and all was clean. So my thought is that some factors came together, like heat (?), stress/worries, hormonal fluctuation and your complex medication. If such an episode repeats, please, go to the ER. But I am optimistic that it won’t happen again.
