Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As this sounds like a degenerative disc disease. Needs an MRI of the lumbar spine to check the soft tissue changes.

Take up the McKenzie maneuver position and centralize the pain. Find this McKenzie maneuver online. Post which use hot water fermentation to reduce the muscle spasm. As the pain reduces with days to come do exercise which includes - core stability exercises, spinal muscle strengthening exercises, hip muscle strengthening exercises, lower limb as a whole strengthening exercise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
