Shortness of breath for the past 7 months, belching, sometimes angina upon exertion (yes, I have hardening of the arteries per cardiogram (CAT). EKG s are normal and echo was said to be normal with low to moderate mitral regurgitation. The once a week Nitro handles the chest pain, but the breathing is the overwhelming nuisance. I am only 65 and in good health. Height 5 9 and weight is down to 200. And blood pressure is now at 105-115 over 66- 70. No other medications taken. Cardio MD says he can t help lungs and insists on invasive CATH. Any other choices? This all started( beyon d some normal fatigue when I had a violent episode of vomiting one night. Yes, I react badly to sugary foods now as well or after a meal. Thyroid? Blood tests normal so far.. Appreciate your thoughts! Jerry
