What Causes Shortness Of Breath While Suffering From High Cholesterol Levels?
Female Age 64 Good health. Just had bloodwork all is good but cholesterol is high. Every afternoon I have shortness of breath as if I need to get a deep breath but it is a labored struggle. Not consistent but almost the need to yawn occasionally. Very disturbing. What could it be?
Shortness of breath every afternoon, associated with the need to yawn occasionally are referring for hyperacidity issues of the stomach. Meds you use to treat high cholesterol levels can also cause hyperacidity of the stomach.
I advise to consult with a gastroenterologist and run upper endoscopy to determine the right diagnosis.
For the moment, I advise to: - have small and frequent meals - chew up slowly - take antacids after meal - avoid spicy/oily/chilly foods and caffeinated/alcoholic drinks/chocolate
Wish fast recovery.
