What Causes Shoulder Pain When Diagnosed With Tendonitis?

My husband has had tendonitis in his hands and elbows in the last couple of months. Today he s telling me his left shoulder hurts to about halfway across his chest and up into his throat, making the throat sore. He told me it s not the same as a heart attack - he s had 2 of those ... Any thoughts?

Hello,

Even though pain is not simulate the heart attack you have to confirm that it is not due to heart.

Also left shoulder osteoarthritis or herpes zoster or left pleuracy or stroke may present like this.

You have to get one ECG first if it is not realated to your heart then you can take pain killer medication and consult your orthopedician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
