What Causes Sickness, Low Blood Sugar With Hand Tingling After Head Trauma?

Hi, my boyfriend was out all yesterday drinking (approx 12 hours) around 10pm last night he ended up in a fight which resulted in him being kicked to the ground in the head, he was sick all night for around 8 hours, we went to A&E this morning which he had a head scan which was all clear but his blood sugar was very low so had a glucose drip, since leaving the hospital his left hand is tingly like pins and needles constantly, this has been happening for about 2 hours, is this something to worry about or should he be ok ?

He may have suffered a traumatic injury to the cervical cord when being kicked in the head which could've stretched things a bit causing the hand tingling. My recommendation is that he be seen by a neurologist as soon as possible for an examination and more specialized imaging studies than A&E would've likely done just to be sure there isn't a more serious injury that could be present.
