Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having pretty significant pain in both of my feet for 3 months since the beginning of basketball season. It hurts with pretty much anything I do including standing. I've been to podiatrist twice tried 2 different inserts, night splints, and stretching, none of which worked. It's getting worse. I've been told it's in my tendons but not what it is. I go back next week and I want to know what they are going to do, as well as what's wrong. Am I going to need braces or walking boots, or something? How long until I can get back to basketball?
First what's the diagnosis your doctor has made? Do you have flat foot? Do you have back pain? And do you smoke? These things are necessary to advise you proper treatment
