What Causes Sleep Disorders, Tiredness And Loss Of Appetite?

Hello,My son is 13 years old, ADHD and is on 80 mg of Strattera. In the last 2 weeks he has been extremely tired and has had a loss of appetite. I understand that the medication will make him loose some appetite, but this is extreme. He has slept anywhere from 12- over 24 hours a day. I have an appointment to see a doctor on Friday. His medication is not new. He has been on this for a year, so this is not the problem. Thank you, Melanie

Hi, thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
I would suggest you to give him his medications after the meal time. That would combat some of his appetite loss due to the medication. You should also consult your doctor and get his haemoglobin, Vit D, Vit B12 and thyroid levels checked.
