What Causes Slight Bump When Suffering From Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction?
lock jaw hi I am 25 female and have had a locked jaw for 3 weeks. have been to maxfax clinic where they did xray and found nothing abnormal and said it is my muscles tightening and u suffer from tmjd. I have a follow up appointment in 2weeks but over the last few days I have noticed the right side has a slight bump which cannot be seen but felt abduction does not hurt to touch but itvis painful to try and open ny mouth too much. I have stuck to soft food and cannot bite or chew. should I be worried about the bump?
