What Causes Slight Discoloration Of Scrotum In Infants?

My son is a lil over 2 months old and his scrotum is slightly discolored. Its a purplish black. At his last check up doc said everything was fine. I'm just concerned it could be lack of blood flow. What could be wrong? Should i call his dr in the morning and let her know my concern or is this normal and i'm just over reacting.

Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic forum.
Scrotum of term infants are dark in color. This is normal only. Lack of dark pigmentation indicates prematurity.
So you just need not be worried.
Hope you got it cleared. Thank you.
