What Causes Slightly Blurred Vision While On Gabapentin For Sciatic Nerve Pain?

I am taking gabapentin for sciatic nerve pain. I started a couple of months ago and gradually increased dosage to 100 mg in am and 300 mg at night. About 2 weeks ago I noticed some slightly blurry vision. Can this be a side effect? It s very subtle.

Hello,

Diplopia (double vision) is a known side effect of Gabapentin. It would be good to have yourself examined by an eye doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Noble Zachariah
