What Causes Slimy Discharge And Redness In Vagina?
My 6 year old daughter has been having a slimy discharge from her vagina, the other day she said it burned when she peed and I looked and she was very red on her lips and I assumed the urine was burning her lips I put ointment on it and she never complained about it burning again but she still has the slimy discharge and its been going on for about a month. What could this be?

Infective causes must be ruled out. A culture and sensitivity study of the discharge is required and antibiotics must be started according to the culture results. Nothing much to worry and most cases respond well to antibiotics.
