What Causes Sloppy Stools?

Hi, I've been under a lot of stress of late and every time i need to go to the toilet I always kinda burst into diarrhea or very sloppy like a cake mix type of poo's.. It has been 3 weeks and I haven't had any normality to them as of yet. Is it just because of stress or do I need to see a doctor?
