What Causes Small Bumps Around The Anus?

Hello, I am a 31 year old male, normal weight and generally healthy. A few months ago I began experiencing pain around the anus during bowel movements. I went to a dr and was told i had two superficial anal fissures. Since then they have seemed to have healed, but now I feel (and can see with a mirror) small, scar like bumps around the anal and perianal regions. These appeared a few weeks ago (I noticed them while showering at first) and they cause irritation when I walk a lot and after I clean after bowel movement. Also after showering. Any ideas on what these small bumps could be? Some are round, others are elongated. They exstend into the the anus it feels like. I am very embarassed to see a doctor, so any advice will be appreciated!
