Reason of concern is when I pass my hand over my face it feels so rough and it seems like a heat emanating from my face. Also my face feels like it hassome greasy cream on which I have not applied any. My concern is this never happened to me before and I am 34 year ops female... Please help. Thanks... Ps I recently has cold/cough for like 2 months, my blood test revealed that my white blood count was low. I was given a zpack which didn't totally clear up my upper respiratory infection so I took mucinex as well after... The rash has occurred after all this... Thanks agaIn

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

Probably you developed follicultis on the face. And that occured after the infection of upper respiratory tract. You may be having poor immunity. There may be seborrhoea also and that is why you feel like greasiness on the surface of the face. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. After thorough examination, he may give proper treatment. Antibiotics like azithromycine or minocycline in proper dose may be taken. Nadifloxacine gel may be applied on the lesions. Cleanse the face wirh cetaphil lotion. After few weeks treatment, you may become alight. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
