What Causes Small Dark Brown Spots And Redness In Eyes In A 13 Months Old?
hi my 13 month old son has a bad cough and runny nose and will not settle at all at night. He doesnt want to be comforted as this seems to upset him - not sure if he is a bit achy. HE also has small dark brown/red spots on his tongue and a little bit of redness in his eye next to his iris

Hi,
I feel that he is going through a viral upper respiratory tract infection.
But at the same time as you say there is small bleeding in the subconjunctival region, it would be but Pertussis also.
A child at this age when he is not liking to be comforted means he is agitated, he will require medical attention. Please take him to the nearest Emergency Room.
