What Causes Sore Anal Opening In A Child?
My 6 year old daughter has been crying her head off for the past hour about her butt being sore.. It has a huge red ring around the hole.. I have put some chapstick on it, (since we have nothing else) but she is still screaming!! Is there anything else home remedy wise I can use to relieve the pain?

Hi,
It seems that there might be having some irritation and soreness producing pain.
Clean local part and apply antibiotic cream.
Give her paracetamol or ibuprofen for pain.
Afterwards go for stool test for having any worm infestation which can give rise irritation on the part.
Keep her local hygiene clean.
Ok and take care.
