What Causes Sore And Tender Indentation At The Back Of The Head?

Hello, after I woke up this morning and prepared to do my hair, I felt a significantly-sized indentation at the back of my head. The spot is sore and tender, and I am trying to figure out where it may have come from - I haven t been wearing any kind of headgear unless I hit my head and did not realize it. However what I am most concerned about is whether this is a case where I should wait to see if it gets better or I should go get it checked out?

Hello,

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
