Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I hit my knee really hard on a desk right under my knee cap right where the bone begins at the top of my shin. now im having trouble walking and the lining of the back of my shin hurts (where the calf is). it feels really tender n sore near said calf. what could it be? meniscus?
Most probably it will be a musculoskeletal contusion. As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
