What Causes Sore Joints And Stiffness In The Fingers After A Hysterectomy?

I am 55 years old. I had a hysterectomy a year ago and since then there has been a gradual decline in everything with regards to my body. More obvious over the last 3 months - I have started to experience very sore joints - wrists, knees and ankles - my hands crack and my knuckles have nodules on and some are developing on my toes - I wake up every morning with pins and needles in my hands and swelling and stiffness in the fingers - I am very active and I am very depressed about the state of my body - please can you help in any way

Hello,

It is not related to hysterectomy.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. We have to rule out possible causes like early signs of arthritis.
