Hi,

This is due to acid reflux phenomenon of the food poisoning (can occur after 2 days also) with severe gastritis.

Helpful tips to get rid of it are:
• Avoid all oily, spicy, non-vegetarian stuffs, beverages, and junk foods at present
• Consume small amount of light diet at intervals
• Consume more liquids in fractions
• Remain ambulatory with walking, deep breathing exercises, and yoga
• Take capsule Prilosec
• Over-the-counter (OTC) basis antacid syrups will fasten the recovery
• Avoid stress/anxiety/smoking/alcohol

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
