What Causes Sore Throat After Having Amoxicillin For Ear Infection?
I went to the doctor because my ears felt so stopped up and then started to hurt. The doctor said the left ear looked really foggy. He said I had an infection and fluid in my ear. After 3 days of taking amoxicillan, I have a sore throat and a whit gristle like thing in the back of my throat. What should I do?

Sore throat is just part of the infection you are suffering and it looks like that it is either a viral infection or the bacteria are resistant to amoxicillin, please meet your ent doctor, he will change your antibiotic, which will cure you.
