What Causes Sore Throat And Asthma While On Benzocaine?

I have been treated for allergies already this year. I have asthma when exposed to allergens, but otherwise Do not use an inhaler on a regular basis every day. My question is this. I keep biting my tongue in the posterior part of my mouth and I also have a sore throats on that side only. It is as if my tongue is too big for my mouth. I ve tried gargling with mouth wash that has benzocaine in it, but it doesn t take away the pain for long. What are your thoughts?

Hi,

If this problem is for a long time, this may be secondary to some abnormal detention i.e, some abnormal tooth. This may also be responsible for the sore throat. So, I would suggest you should consult a dentist.
