What Causes Sore Throat And Cough While On Levolin?

I had a sore throat since a few days which quickly became heavy breathing and cough.I experience a hoarse breath.. So I tried some nebulisation with levolin 2.5 and budesal 2 twice yesterday...Also I took grillinctus syrup three times yesterday. I had body pain and slight headache as well. I feel the symptoms of cold are better but cough is not constant but on and off..also some dark mucous in throat after cough.. Pls advise the treatment and dosage.. Gissy.

Hello,

Medicines you took may not be appropriate for the symptoms that you have.

It seems to be allergic condition and anti-histamine of the second generation can be tried like Levocetirizine.

Infection needs to be ruled out, in case of infection antibiotic is necessary, else simple anti-histamine and Acetaminophen can be tried.
