What Causes Sore Throat, Cough, Blood In Sputum, Headache And Night Sweats?

Hi, I have had a sore throwt on and off for over a week. The last few days my glands have been constantly swollen and I find it hard to swallow. I also have a slight cough, bloody mucus, headaches, night sweats and I generally feel week. Is this just a bad cold/infection or should I visit my gp?

Hello,

Of course you should visit your GP. You should do a total blood count with formula and a x-ray of chest also. A respiratory tract infection is possible and also mononucleosis is a possibility.
