What Causes Sore Throat, Cough With Phlegm, Rhinitis And Breathlessness?
I ve had this sore throat, cough with phlegm and runny nose for four days now. I have difficulty breathing and each breath of mine are long, deep breaths. A couple of days ago, I had this pain behind my eye. It was especially painful when I move the eye. I also had this headache on my right temple, which then extended to my left temple as well. Just today, I felt small nodes or lumps on the right side of my neck. There are like three of them on my neck. I had Primary Complex as a child. Is this sinusitis?
Your symptoms of cold, runny nose, pain at eyes, right temple and nodes at cervical region is surely suggestive of a bacterial infection. I would advise you the following in such a situation: * Consult your Doctor for preliminary examination * ENT consultation is best idea for an early diagnosis * CT scan of nose and sinuses will confirm * Relevant tests of blood, CBC to know white cell count * Proper course of an antibiotic, decongestant and anti-inflammatory medicines would help you to get a relief and cure too * Use nasal decongestant drops too
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
