What Causes Sore Throat, Headache And Body Ache In A 15-year-old?
My 15 year old daughter started complaining of a sore throat last night and today has a sore throat, terrible headache and body aches. She has not had a fever but feels hot and then cold. She has not had any respiratory symptoms, at least so far. She has taken 2 doses of 400mg of ibuprofen without much relief. Is this likely just a viral syndrome of some kind?

She may be developed acute viral fever with rhinopharyngitis.
Use tablet Paracetamol.
Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.
Use tablet Amoxyclav.
If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor. He will examine and treat you accordingly.
