What Causes Sore Throat,cold Sweats,headaches And Lethargy?
hi, i just seen my doc today because I have been sick for 5 weeks straight with cold and flu symptoms but they are getting worse and I noticed bright red blood in my stool and was wondering if maybe i have an infection instead of just the flu. i was diagnosed with sinuses and received 10 days of antibiotics and took all the meds but now my symptoms are back......sore throat, cold sweats all the time, extreame fatigue, headaches and sore neck. Any advice would help.

Hello,
In case of viral infections like Infectious mononucleosis or post streptococcus infections it may present like weakness or lethargy. Use tablet Levocetirizine for five days. Blood in stools may be due to hard stools or hemorrhoids. Eat high fiber diet, avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days.
If symptoms have not improved please get it done complete blood picture, urine examination, throat swab culture and sensitivity. Use tablet Amoxicillin and Clauvulinic acid 625 mg for five days. Please review with reports and consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
