What Causes Soreness After Stent Surgery Along With Tightness In Groin Area?

I had a heart attack in april 2014 . was told I had 80 percent blockage. I had two stents put in, everything seemed ok but lately I have a lot of tenderness and sorness in that area. I also feel tightness in the groin area where they inserted the tube. I am under a lot of stress due to my husband being in the hosp at this time. I didn t know if stress has anything to do with this at this time. I am 70 years old

Hello ma'am and welcome.

First of all, stress is your enemy and please understand that it gets you nowhere. Taking stress is a normal response, but does it really help to sort the issues you are dealing with and the problems that are upon you. I might seem like less of a doctor, but have faith in your creator and he shall take care of what needs to be taken care of. Nothing is in your hands, and so worrying does not and will not sort anything.

It will only worsen your health, and shorten an otherwise beautiful life you can lead. The stress could easily be the cause for your presentation, and I would recommend relaxation techniques or visiting a doctor for the same.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
