What Causes Soreness And Mucus Sensation In Throat?

I am feeling sore throat for last 1.5 years. Doctor suggested me to go for endoscopy of nose, sinus and throat. After examining he found everything good. One year before I had CT scan of my Sinus and it showed some deviations in some kind of bone in nose (don t actually remember the results). I used the nasal drips, anti acids for 1-2 months. But still I feel some kind of obstruction in my throat. it doesn t pain when I eat, drink anything but it s very annoying. Also some mucus sensation in throat. Please suggest what other factors can cause this.

I have read your query and understand your concern . As you have soreness and mucus sensation in throat this can be due cold , strep throat or tonsilitis . for this I will suggest you to consult ENT surgeon for clinical examination and inmeantime do warm saline gargle 2 to3 times a day . You can also take medicine like Azithromycin or Allegra by consulting with local doctor .
