What Causes Soreness And Red Spots/lesions On Penis Every Time After Sex?
I have been with my girlfriend for 12 months. From the beginning of our relationship I we have been getting sore after sex. She has discomfort and I have lesions/slit skin around my penis and on occasion have red spots on the head of my penis.
Originally we though we required lubrication, which we used. This does help but I still get the lesions and still on very brief occasions the red spots.
The spots tend to clear up after a few hours but the lesions can take days to heal. My girlfriend sore my maybe a day or two.
What seems to be the problem??

I think the real issue is yeast / candidal infection rather than lack of lubrication or something else.
Candidal infection in males Or candidal balanoposthitis can cause red spots and slits on the foreskin of penis making it sore and difficult to retract because of swelling and inflammation.
Since the infection can easily pass on to the sexual partner during sexual intercourse, therefore, the discomfort and sore feeling in your sexual partner could also be related to the same cause.
I suggest you to visit a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis.
Topically you may use an OTC topical antifungal cream e.g clotrimazole 1% cream, twice daily and your sexual partner may use OTC clotrimazole vaginal tablets every night for 7 days.
A single dose of an oral antifungal e.g fluconazole is also curative. A single dose is advisable in both the sexual partners.
It is important to treat both the partners simultaneously and abstain from sexual intercourse for a week.
