What Causes Soreness From Mod Thigh To Knee?

My inner thigh is very sore. Feels bruised but there is nothing there. No redness, not swollen, just very very sore from mid thigh to my knee. What could this be caused by? I haven t fallen or had any type of injury. I do work out regularly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but had to skip today because of this pain.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from muscular pain at your thigh. Treatment of it is rest and analgesics (diclofenac three times a day after meals). Muscle relaxant such as thiocolchicoside can be added Vitamin B-complex and Vitamin C supplementation can used to promote healing. However you can get x ray and MRI done if pain does not decrease in 3-5days. I also consider thrmbobhlebitis in deferential diagnosis. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
