Yes, your left sided chest complaints can be due to heart diseases.
Soreness of heart area with heaviness of left arm are common symptoms of cardiac diseases.
So better to get done
1. Blood pressure monitoring
2. Ecg
3. 2d echo.
If all these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Gallstones usually give right sided complaints.
So better to first rule out heart diseases in your case.
